Did I ever tell you HOW MUCH I LOVE this cover ???!!!

I discovered it last year when I was listening to the album Garage Inc., covers by Metallica.
The album was released in 1998 but I listen to it, entirely, for the first time in 2009, when after talking about Metallica at the Uni (because of the release of Death Magnetic), I had the idea to re-discover the band !

I looked after the original version on YouTube. What a mistake. The only version I'm able to listen is that one, with James Hetfield's voice ... I love how he used his voice : nice, angry, scary, reassuring ... I love it ... And the melody ... The bass... No sound, everybody's making a short silence, and big drums !!!!!!!!!! Oh God, one day I'd like to marry Lars Ulrich (and if I cannot marry him, I will marry another drummer !!)

I loved listening to that song with a big sound level, feeling the bass under my feet on the floor !

PS : ideas for future posts

- few years ago (no manyyyyyy), I made my Muse's TOP 50. Because I made it before they released Black Holes & Revelations, H.A.A.R.P (yeah, because sometimes a live version is much better than a studio), and The Resistance, I have to update it. I will post the old and the new Top 50.


- I wanted to make a TOP 10, impossible, TOP 20, impossible, so I made a TOP 50 for Muse. I think I will make others TOP. Next (following my collection of CDs ...) :

* TOP x of Electronic Music (including : Air, Archive, Birdy Nam Nam, Ez3kiel, Hint, Hint vs Ez3kiel - because some of them are much better than Ez3kiel alone or Hint alone, Vuneny, and Yuksek. If I think about others artists/bands, I will include them)

* TOP x of Metallica, from Kill them All to Death Magnetic, including some live versions

* TOP x of Alison Krauss with and without Union Station

* TOP x of Soundtracks

* TOP x of Covers

* The list is not closed because those ideas are from my CDs collections. I haven't check on my iTunes collection !!
