I should listen to that playlist non stop, with the authorisation to skip some when I don't want to listen, or re-listen other, and see, one week later what my iTunes tells me ...
Top 10, top 10 ... I should not try to think about it, or tomorrow I will chose to began new top 10 !
Let's go for the Part III !
ELECTRO / VERSAILLES' TOUCH
what I call Versailles' Touch is the electro music played by few artists from Versailles !here or here
Me & You - by Archive
Shine on Your Crazy Diamonds - by The Pink Floyd
=> People say that Pink Floyd is Rock music. To me, it's between electro and rock ... And this one ... well electro music !
Now that I posted the link and listen to the song, I want to watch C.R.A.Z.Y again ! If you never saw that movie, watch it !!!!
C.R.A.Z.Y
extract one
Pink Floyd vs Rolling Stones
(sorry, the version of the movie is ... spanish I think ... The movie is a canadian one, it's better to see it in french ... well in quebecois with good subtitles)
C.R.A.Z.Y
extract two
David Bowie
Tonight - by Yuksek
=> !!!! (sorry)
(he's so cuuuuuuuuuuute, sorry)
During my internship at UWe, I worked on Yuksek first EP "It Comes" - brilliant !
And also on "On the Way Home" by Manu Le Malin. Don't like his music, but the man is ADORABLE !!!
So many crazy memories because of him !!
Sexy Boy - by AirSo many crazy memories because of him !!
=> Versailles' Touch ! The duet is from my little city. The two guys met in high school, my brother and sister's one ... I was not in the same !
I could have add Daft Punk, and finally didn't ... Sometimes we have to chose !!
One year, Versailles organized a crazy concert in the Park of the Palace. On the same stage, only artists from Versailles : Etienne de Crécy, Alex Gopher, Phoenix and Air.
Stage on the Bassin de Neptune. Perfect. In the perspective, from our seats, the Palace. Price : 33 euros, nothing !!!
Only problem : the weather.
It was in June, and this year, June was terrific ! Rain, rain, rain ...
The concert was an outside concert ... nothing to protect the stage ... WTF ???
The bands are using expensive materials, you know that since weeks the weather is awfull, and you still have nothing to protect the stage, the material and the microphones ?
Etienne de Crécy began with 20 minutes of delay because of the rain. Set of 30 minutes, no rain. He says thank you goodnight, go off the stage, rain.
Alex Gopher, the same....
Then, Phoenix ... No rain, they can began "normally" ... After 3 or 5 songs, rain ! The singer loves being with the public... Because the stage is on a pound, he's leaving the stage in a little boat and come to us... We saw him go off the boat, but we couldn't hear a sound ... Bad contact, short circuit, the microphone is dead ... And I think that he felt some electricity in his hand ... They try to play another song ... Good but not so good because of the rain that was really back ...
And then, the last, the best ... Air ... Rain, rain, rain ... Little stop ... Ok here they are ... They play one song ... Rain ... Goodbye electronic piano ?? No, not yet ... A second song ... RAIN !! This time, the piano is dead ... And the amp is almost dead too ... They stop. Staff is covering the material, putting the water off the stage ... Everybody is scared ... A girl comes ... and left ...
Here comes Jean Benoît Dunckel, followed by Nicolas Godin, the two guys. I don't remember who talked... I think it was JB D...
" - We're really sorry, but we just lost a piano. We cannot play, it's too dangerous. We're really sad but we hope everybody spent a good night".
He was almost crying when he said that ! And we were too ! A special concert played by Versailles' band for THEIR public ... I think it was the first time since years !!!!!!!!!!
The girl comes back "Ok, so the SNCF was suggesting you some extra trains ... But finally, because the end of the concert is cancelled, you don't need them ..." ... She didn't say it like that but that was her idea.
I never had the occasion to see them since that night ! It was in 2007 ...

RAP US
My Humps - by The Black Eyed Peas
No Diggity - by Blackstreet
=> And this one is dedicated to Opti from Jarring Effects. Because I'm tall and thin, one day he told me, joking, that I will never have a career in hip-hop (I think that we talked about hip-hop because we were listening to Dr Dre for the 100 000th time in the same week !!!), he added
" - I mean, we will never see you in a clip by 50 Cents"
Thank you my dear !
Soldier - by Destiny's Child
Pon de Replay - by Rihanna
Russian Roulette - by Rihanna
Rude Boy - by Rihanna
=> First time I heard that song ? In Zakk's car, when we were driving from Glasgow to Harrogate ! So this song means A Joker's Rage to me. And it's the only reason.

She Hates Me - by Puddle of Mudd
Everybody Hurts - by R.E.M
Jumpin' Jack Flash - by The Rolling Stones
Still Loving You - by The Scorpions
=> Dedicated to Lapin-d'Garen (real name : Garen ; joke about it because, Garen + ne = Garenne = Warren Rabbit. So during a whole year, Garen was Lapin-d'Garen - and Pierre-Marie was Poussin - chick - because his blond and bearded ... like a chick ! Yes, our class was a farm !)
Dedicated to him because he was our metal player, and as he said one day, metal yes, but nice and soft metal, like Scorpions.
My Generation - by The Who
Baba O'Riley - by The Who
CRAZY !!
Baba O'Riley - covered by Blue Man Group
