Yes the blue one ... is the same than this one ...
Story of the dress blue and black dress :
Few days before my birthday, we were in Paris, for what I don't remember.
Anyway.
We were walking in the Marais, where a lot of good fashion store are. In the middle of a little street, a little store. I saw a wonderful skirt (my golden skirt). Mum and I decided to walk in. And, few seconds after, I saw THE dress ! The blue one. The lady of the store (a lovely british woman) told me it was the only one she had ... Size 6 ... Too small, I need a 8 ... She only had this one.
"Fortunately" the skirt was ok.
Before leaving the store, I check the brand of the dress "French Connection". Back home, I check on the Internet : no French Connection store in Paris, or France (so WHY did they call it FRENCH Connection ????). I only found a little corner at the Galeries Lafayette.
After a job interview, I met my Mum in Paris for a little bit of shopping. We went to the G.L and I found the dress, in black. The 8 was perfect, but the girl had the dress only in black ... Too bad (but I bought the dress and love it !)
Before leaving for Ireland, I'd been weak and check the new collection, and found another perfect dress (here) ... Google, and F.C.U.K website : there are stores in Dublin ! I will check the dress there !
We went to the store. No dress ! F.U.C.K ! But there are some sales ... Let me check !
OH MY GOD !!! THIS IS MY BLUE DRESS IN 8 !!!!
Mum looked at me and told me
" - You already have this one in black ..."
" - (crying yes) but it's not the sameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee " (the kind of thing that ONLY a girl can say with false tears)
I also found the green one, that I tried in Paris and didn't bought.
Because it was -70%, I took them both !
Maybe I'm gonna change my name in Becky Bloomwood ... ...
I love/hate French Connection !!
Now, I need to find those shoes !
The one in the window were 37 (size UK's 4, US' 6) and I'm 39 (UK's 6, US' 8) ... Ouch !
I tried another one in 39 : too big, 38 : not so bad but ... 37 : give me my feet back please !!! It's dying !!!!
And, as usual, United Nude has NO STORE in Paris, just a corner at ... Galeries Lafayette !
I hate shopping ! ;-)
Hooray! What a happy story - you found your dream dress and on sale! It's lovely!
