A Perfect Day ?

So, yesterday afternoon, I had a call :

"Hi, I'm calling you because we just received your résumé and we'd like to meet you. Can you come tomorrow ?"
Yes, I can ...

Later, the same afternoon, on Facebook:

"Jérôme Flayac posted a link on his page."

Oh God, an exhibition about Ez3kiel's art, in Paris ! It stars tomorrow !

So today, I took my usual train to Paris.

First stop, M°Goncourt, to meet L'Orchestre Lamoureux.
Very interesting. The only thing is that, now, I'm sure that I hate the Job Center, aka Paul E. (in fact, in French, Job Center is Pôle Emploi, and because Pôle sounds like Paul, my friends and I are talking about Paul E.)

So, why do I hate Paul E. ?
Because, when I receive an email "You have X new job offers", you can be sure that they never say what's the company is. You have an offer number, a link to "apply" or a little line saying "If you want to apply to this job offer, please send an email to this Job Center, they will send if we think that you can apply".
So, this is what I did. I received this offer, thought it was a good one, and the only I knew was that the company is a musical association. Nothing more.

That was two weeks ago, maybe three ...
On the phone, and during the interview, the girl told me several times that they just got my résumé yesterday, and got some others this morning !! WELL DONE PEOPLE !! THEY NEED SOMEBODY QUICKLY !!

Anyway.

Nice interview, the job seems very interesting (it's a classical orchestra, organizing big concerts in beautiful places in Paris, and they also have to organize a little event for Chanel in two weeks ... Hard isn't it ?), the team seems nice and these are two reasons why I really want the job :
- when they asked me what kind of studies and internships I made, I saw that the girl was smiling. When I stopped talking, she explains me why she was smiling : she made the same Master degree in Lyon, had the same awful memories about some classes and teachers, and knows very well Jarring Effects. She asked me who was my thesis' teacher, I answered M. André Tiran, and she smiled, and asked me with who I was working at Jarring Effects, I answered Jérôme Flayac and Nicolas André and she smiled. I didn't have the occasion to ask her when she studied there... But, she says she was working for the orchestra since a year, so maybe she left Lyon when I arrived there...
- when the two women asked "is there any other questions?" the Director said "Yes, I have other questions .... but .... it's not about the job, it's about another job!" And the three laughed ... Because I was making a strange face, they explain me. The Director plays in a rock band, and tries to have a little career with it ... And so, when he heard "I'm helping rock bands to play in Paris", he heard it well ! He will send me invitations for a concert soon...

I think I really want that job.

After that, I left, really happy and smiling (they will call me back on Friday because they're meeting another people on Thursday...) and went to the Palais de la Découverte
The thing I didn't tell you is that, when I was on my way to the interview, listening to Ez3kiel, I saw something like 10 posters Les Mécaniques Poétiques d'Ez3kiel. When I saw the first one, I was almost crying ! A Jarring Effects artist, here, on a poster, in the Sub ! Amazing !!! (at this moment, I didn't know that I will meet a girl who made the same Master, and knows Jarring !!)

On my way to the Palais de la Découverte, I saw other posters. Arrived there, I asked my entry, because I'm looking for a job, it was a free entry... I was so happy to say

"Hello, one entry for Ez3kiel please !"

I enter to the exhibition and was almost crying, again. It was soooooooooo beautiful !! If you are in Paris, please take 5 minutes to visit it !!!!
Of course, I left a note on the gold book, and leaving the Palais, I sent a text to Jérôme and Nico saying
"Thank you guys for the link about Ez3kiel, the exhibition is amazing !"

After that, back to the train and back home.

In front of me, a crazy guy, plus, he was so stinking, it was awful (of course, I had no opening window next to me, and there was a lot of people, so, impossible to change). He first asked me if the train was going to Versailles. And I answered yes (and wanted to add, "you didn't check before getting in ?"). Before going out the train, he patted on my knee saying "I wanted to thank you miss because you have beautiful legs and so, I spent a beautiful moment in your company tonight !" (he also told me "I know that you are wearing tights and not stockings because we recognize stockings when we're looking at the ankles, they always fall down, and they mark the knee, and you have no red marks on your knees. Please, next time you will wear a suspender belt, can you have a little thought for me ?")
...............................

I went to the last door and almost ran after being outside.... NOOOOO, don't follow me.
I was leaving the train station when I saw him running after to bus... OH NO !!

I never had problem, and I think this man is not a bad man, but, I admit it, I was a little bit afraid and was really happy to have my book with me !

And finally home. Back on blogger to tell you that. And just before writing this post, I read the new posts, and saw that Nicole from Noddles and Waffles left me my second award. WOW. A perfect day I said !

Here are the rules of this second award - The Cherry On Top Award ! -

1. Thank the person that gave you award.
2. Copy the award and put it on the blog.
3. List 3 things you love about yourself.
4. Post a picture you love.
5. Tag 5 people to pass the award on

So, Thank you Nicole for this award.
It's nice to know that this blog is followed by regular readers ! I love all your comments, and believe me, writing this blog helps me a lot. It helps me to improve my english (not so easy !), it helps me to try to speak HTML ... (soooooo hard, but one day I will be bilingual with HTML !!), and, ...

3 things about myself ! (ok, just a minute, I think that for my first award, I had to write things about myself, I have to check what I wrote, because I don't want to write the same things ...)
Oh no, it's three things I love about myself.

- I love my blue eyes. Some of my friends are jealous about my eyes ! But the strange thing is that when a man gives me a compliment, he's talking about my nose (my Ghost was a fan of my nose !), a guy I met when I was with Walter told me that he was a fan of my mouth, and this evening, the crazy guy told me I had beautiful legs ... (I hate my legs). Men never talked to me about my eyes !
(or maybe my haircutter told me that short hair were perfect, and was bringing out my eyes ... I wanted to tell him "ok, compliment my perfect short hair, you just did it !")

- Ok, maybe you'll find this terribly selfish or whatever, but I want to say that I love the life I'm living. It's not the perfect life, and I'm glad it's not, because that means that I still can have dreams. I have a home, my family, my friends and, I don't know why, I'm living crazy things those days. I started when I push the door of the EAC, lived 4 years there, left for Lyon, lived there one year and crazy adventures and I'm still living crazy adventures with and thanks to the people I met there.

- I love and hate trying clothes. I mean, I'm a girl, and I love shopping. I'm not so tall (1m64), slender (too much I think... A little bit like Keira Knightley ... I hear the same "Are you sure you're not anorexic ?" No I am not, thank you !). Some clothes don't fit me at all (I hate that), and others are just perfect. Finding new jeans is terribly hard, but dresses ... So simple ! I love/hate that !! (By the way, 14 days since my Call Me Becky post, and I still have not buy the F.C.U.K dress !!). I, also, hate my feet, but love trying new shoes !!

A picture that I love.

This is a part of the artwork of the record Naphtaline, by Ez3kiel. I really love it ! So quite, so romantic, soooo, I love it. They painted it for the exhibition, it was beautiful. The only thing I regret is that they were selling no posters ! I should try to see with Jarring if they have it !
I think that this picture, and the poster of the exhibition are the pictures of the day !

And finally, 5 people to pass the award ...

I would like to pass this nice pinky award to The Blog O'Cheese because, everytime I visit your blog I spend a very good moment ! I love that ! I don't understand everything, but one day I will (well, I should understand everything, it's written english, not spoken english with a terrible scottish accent !)
I want to pass this award to A Girl Need To Talk, Gypsy*Diary, Café Bellini, The Girl Who Stole the Eiffel Tower

Reading your blogs inspire me ! I'm very happy to have you with me !

Thank you !!
