High School Music[al]

In high school I was listening bands like Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park.
To me, Limp Bizkit didn't make a lot of good albums, except two...
On the other hand, I think that Linkin Park is a very interesting band !

I bought all their albums, except the last one.

Hybrid Theory was rock, a little bit of metal and hip-hop, some very good songs, and a lot of high school memories.
Reanimation had wonderful remix : Crawling, One Step Closer, Papercut, A Place for my head, Pushing me Away and Runaway. Originals and remixes are so different ! It's sooooo great.
Meteora was great but not my favourite. There were some similarities with Hybrid Theory. The first time I listened to it I thought that this album was not really original. Even if I love Faint !
Collision Course was amazing. I hate Jay-Z, but the mix of their music is amazing !
Minutes to Midnight was really different from the others... Rock disappears a little bit, some electronic music are arriving little by little, something changed.

I also bought the Live in Texas, but, honestly, I'm not sure one day I'll go to see them live, because Chester Bennington is a horrible singer live.... His voice is terrible ! (At least, that proves he's really singing ! I think that, on this record, the only good thing is seeing Lars Ulrich dressed like a bunny on stage ! (God, I love that man !!)

I saw that the new album was out. I listened to the first single The Catalyst, not a big fan after hearing it for the first time. I saw on MySpace that we can listen to a new single on their page. I tried, but my internet connection refused to play the song ! Too bad !
So, I went somewhere else to listen to the new single, and so, the new album.

Just love it !

Completely different, and very good ! Listen to Chester's voice, he has a very nice voice on this one, not screaming, just ... singing !
It's perfect, and so, on my list of "new CDs to buy", I add, after Crazy Heart OST, The Black Keys (oh God, now Kurt Sutter becomes my new enemy, he used 3 or 4 songs of the Black Keys in SOA, and I LOVE that band !!!) and "maybe" Joshua James (I say maybe because I'm sure I won't find it in France, so I'll check on his website to buy his album - ... and by the way, same comment about Kurt Sutter !), so, I add A Thousand Suns by Linkin Park !

And because I love sharing new songs, here is an amazing one !

Plc.4 Mie Haed - Love the original one, and maybe I prefer the remix ... The rhythm, the voices, the progression of the melody ... Just ... Amazing ! And then a whisper, a little piano, and a screaaaaaaaam ! And still the piano, and peace ...
P5hng Me A*way - "When I look into your eyes, there's nothing else to see. Nothing else but my own mistakes standing back at meeeeeeeeeeee" just .... love ! I love the lyrics !
