Ok, my goal, before the end of 2010 is, in fact, 3-in-a-row.

First goal : reached this morning !
Second : I'm on it ...
Third : will begin on Sept. 24th !!

Tuesday evening, phone call :

" - Hi, this is Christophe from the Royale Factory, remember, we met in June, you were looking for gigs for your bands. I listened to the CD you let here at the bar, and I'm a big fan ! I don't care if, for the moment, we don't know the name of the bands, they are all very good ! I'd love to have them here when it will be open ! Do you want to see the place ? Tomorrow morning ? Deal !"

Wednesday morning, I met him at the bar where he's working (for the moment), we talked about music, especially my bands, I told him about Gloria Cycles' death, he told me he was fan of the Dunwells, and that all the bands were really really good.

I told him that I spent two years in electronic music, and that I wanted to work with other musics now. He asked me what kind of electronic music : dance like f*-I-hate-him-he's-not-a-DJ David Guetta or something more noisy and underground like Jarring Effects. I laughed and showed him my T-Shirt, he laughed too.

The same morning, impossible to decide how to get dressed, and I finally choose my JFX t-shirt (some kind of lucky t-shirt)

It was the perfect t-shirt, he told me he was a bigggggggg fan of JFX's music, that they were amazing, blah blah blah ! I love that kind of situation.


After that, we left for the Royale Factory, the soon-to-be-open concerts hall in Versailles. The works are not finished yet, it will not open before late November, but what I saw is just awesome !! It's gonna be the perfect place. The city needs that place (in Versailles, we have nothing for the music except bars - and bars say easily no because of the neighbourhood - churches for classical concerts and the Opera of the Palace - for classical concerts ... = N.O.T.H.I.N.G for actual music)

He really wants my bands to play there, and wants to try some electro-nights (thinking about Jarring Effects since the beginning, without knowing I worked for them !), I want a job. I don't know why, maybe is it because I know that the city terribly needs a place like this, I feel like I have to work there as an employee.

I told him that I'll talk to my bands to know when they are coming back to Paris to deal a night at the Royale Factory, and told him that I'll try with Jarring Effects. I know that they are all interested, no, I need to hear that they can hire me ... Hard ...

But, I'll do everything I can to reach my goal #2 !

Goal #1 was this morning...

After my meeting with Christophe, I went back to the Driving School for my last tests ... 3 Bad Answers, 5 Bad Answers... Glaps...
The second one, I know why I had all those bad answers, I was thinking about all the things I could suggest to the Royale Factory if I was working there ...
This morning, I had to be at the Centre Ozaname at 9:30... Final test at 10:00
They called my Driving School, and so, I entered in the room at 10:30 ... L.O.V.E !

"Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen,
You have an electronic box to answer to the 40 questions. Let me explain you how it works, blah blah, blah ..."

First question, easy, second, easy .... 19 ...
"I'm driving at 90km/h, is my security distance sufficient ?" - On the picture, I see that I'm supposed to be on the high way, one white trait is between my car and the one before me ... Damn, is it enough ... How do we calculate it, I don't remember... Is it if 90km/h, so it means 9x9 = 81 and then 81x2 ... or is it 9x3 = 27 and then 27x2 ... One trait is 39m, at 90km/h is one enough or do I need 2 ? No 2 is when I'm driving at 130km/h... Damn I have to decide ...

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the test is now over, I'm gonna ask you to come to see me, one by one, to give me back the box, and I'll tell you if it's good or not ..."

I'm in the second column, I think I made some mistakes, not 5!! not 5!! PLEASE, now I'm terribly hot and my heart is beating really really fast ... The guy before me stands up ... He's going, I have to go to...

The two guys before me are from the same driving school. The first one gives his box back, the inspector connect it and print the results "It's good, congratulation", my legs are shaking, my heart's beating so strong and so fast, second one "Sorry, you failed" ... Oh no guy ... Think about my legs, heart everything !!

Blue sky, quiet, everything is perfect. Everything stop 5 seconds before when he told me

"It's good, have a nice day"

The first time I passed it, I got it with only one bad answer. Now they changed the results, you don't know how many bad answer you made (or not), they just say "it's good" or "you failed". Then, I failed 5 times at the driving test, this is why I had to re-pass this test.

I went to my driving school after that, the sun was shining, I was walking next to the Palace, and realize, one more time, how beautiful this place is, and everything was perfect.
I arrived there and saw Estelle, she congratulates me, so did Nadia (I think that when she arrived with our files this morning, she knew it will be ok for me, she's a wonderful woman !) and Jamel. Now, I have to wait Sept. 24th, driving evaluation. I will drive during one hour, and the monitor (I don't know who it will be) will tell me "You need 5-10-12-50-100 hours of driving"

The only thing I want is that if it's Jamel, Serge or Estelle (because I think that Sergio left, too bad, he was really good ! Shaking me like a little girl who made a terrible mistake when I was doing a bad thing - even a small thing ! - how many time did I want to cry because I was thinking "this man is terrible" !! And one day, he told me that I was a good driver and that I could drive alone, I just needed the pink paper ! It comforts me soooo much !), so, if it's one of them, I want them to shake me and kick my ass if there is something wrong, because I know that they know I'm a good driver and that I can totally have this f* pink paper ! They are great monitors (well Jamel I don't know because he's mostly at the office, I never drove with him, but, I don't know, I'm sure he's a good one, because only at the desk he shake me so many times, and told me that he was sure I could do it !) and this time, I want to see the green line on my letter, not the red one !

Goal #1, reached this morning.
Goal #3, I would love to reach it before the end of 2010, but the thing is that ok I need to be ready to pass the driving test, but also, the driving school must have enough places for all the candidates, and that is THE HARDEST !!!!
