Levi's featuring Josh Beech
My meeting with the Royale Factory was really interesting.
They already want the Dunwells two nights in February, maybe four, following the success of the two first nights...
My problem is ... in France, if you organize more than 6 concerts/year, you have to ask a special licence for the performing acts ... The thing is that I need to belong to a society/company/association as an employee. I cannot ask it as myself ...
I think that I may ask the new licence for the musical manager. The thing is that a new law has been adopted this Summer, they explain how to do, but don't say WHERE you can do it. Since this morning, I know what kind of subscription I need to do, but don't know when, where and how ! I am so angry !!
I should have done it months ago ! I need it, well I need answers to my questions ! And, another problem, because I don't know where/how/when, I don't know who can answer to my question !
One thing I know is that, I need to meet somebody at the SACEM for all my British band. I need to know how it works for a foreign band and their copyrights. Thank God, for the moment I only work with European bands... I think that it would be different and more difficult for American bands ! Maybe it would have been easier with French bands !!!!!!
Anyway ! I'm scared ...
4 bands ... And W. who always have a new artist for me... He suggests me one this morning. Nice music, and ... cute boy ! And because he's "famous", it can be easy !
Fingers crossed ...
I'm wondering how famous you are! How did you even start to getting where you are? Bands contact you and you take care of their license to perform? Do you know how it sounds in my head? That's really cool!
RépondreSupprimerIn fact, I'm not famous at all ! I've always been passionate by music and chose to get a job there. I wanted to work in promotion, having that nice relationship with the artists without the bad moments. And finally, because (no thanks) of my internship, I met a lot of people.
RépondreSupprimerW. is an important guy in UK and Italy, he knows a lot of people, and push me to meet a lot too. That's so nice from him !! He's working with a lot of artists, and when he needs a concert in France, he calls me "hey listen to that..."
Friday morning, a lot of things to do !!
