08.11.2010 : The Kerry

I love these ruins. We were driving and didn't see it, it was hidden behind bushes and trees and and and.
We turned in the bend and saw it.
Like the ancient castle was appearing from the ground !
Love it !!
I think I should by this one, even if it's not a scottish castle in ruins near a lake ...

Bunratty Castle

Bunratty Castle is a Mediaeval Castle and you can visit it, so as the BIG park around ! The park is really interesting because it's not just gardens, they re-create old irish cottages from XVIII and XIX th Centuries !

I think that this thing is HORRIBLE ! They took the trophy antlers and turned it to a candelabra. I think it was the IT thing in Middle Age, because there is one in every room of the castle !!!

From the outside ...Going to the Folk Park...

Ok ! The one thing that asked me one hour was those two chicken. In love ! There are so cute ! Plus, every time I'm leaving home, I'm trying to find something related to my friends ... During an hour I was saying "Hello Poussin !"

08.12.2010 : Ring Of Kerry

Entering in another Castle of Rock.
In fact, it's just a big circle of stones.
People were building their "homes" inside and were living here with their animals.
The big walls of stones protected them from the enemy.

Fuchsias time !
Mum was so sad because everytime she's trying to plant some, it doesn't work.
Here, in Ireland, we saw sooooooooo many !!

If I marry a Scot, I want, in my hair, one lily (for the France, flower of French Kings), and a thistle (Scot's flower) Now, I need a Scottish guy to marry ...
(I love the thistle, it's a beautiful flower !!! But it hurts a lot !)

On the Road Again (Ring of Kerry)

This is the kind of road we took during 2 weeks.
In France, a road like this is limited at 70km/h, or less...
In Ireland, it's 100km/h...
Double way of driving !
