My first award !

Since many years I'm filling in notebooks with my thoughts, impressions, joy and pain. I filled the first in during my senior year Junior High School, ten years ago.

Last year at the Uni, class about the Music and the Internet. I don't remember how the teacher went to talk about last release of 2008 (his class was in September-October 2008) : Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails and Metallica. He choose to make us listen to some of the new tracks of Metallica, telling us how the band was back to the music they played in the beginning of their career.

I don't know why, I was unable to listen to the last record of Radiohead (maybe because all of our teacher were only talking about it: it's amazing, it's a revolution, Radiohead this, Radiohead that, bla bla bla) but I took the time to listen to Death Magnetic.

The first and last time I've listen to Saint Anger, I didn't like it. I went to Deezer and listen to Death Magnetic. I didn't like some songs, loved others, gave a second chance to Saint Anger and watch the documentary Some Kind Of Monster.
After seeing it, I listen to both those records and found them amazing !

Then I learned that the band was supposed to be inducted to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame just before my birthday (it was on April 4th, and my birthday is April 5th).
For my birthday, I tried to find a video of the ceremony, found one, watched it and found it, and saw some pictures.

And because I'm terribly curious, I think I spent the entire afternoon checking a lot of things about the band.

That's how I discover this blog. I read it, post after post, from the beginning to the end during many days, and then, I choose to open my blog, and then a second one.

Little by little I'm joining new blogs, and new followers are coming here, in my little space.

Yesterday, I had the surprise to have my first award from Tayebug ! It was a good surprise to read the name of my blog in the list of the 15 bloggers she recently discovered !

So thank you very much !! And it's my turn now !

2. Seven things about myself ....

- I'm terribly jealous but my friends say about me that I'm generous and that I am always ready to listen to the others !

- Since ever, I'm a fan of Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears ! Yes I am. And I'm not ashamed of it because it's with those artists that I began my huge collection of CDs and that I love music.

- My italian tiramisù and my lemon moelleux are delicious ! I'm not the only one to say it !

- I love spending an entire afternoon at a coffee and rebuilt the world with my friends !

- My pleasure during the week-end ? Watching Disney Channel !

- I failed 5 times at the exam of driving licence. Many of my friends laugh about it, I don't. It's the first time I fail. Last time was in December 2009, I need 6 months to be better, feeling so bad because at 24 years old I cannot drive, and because it's so much easier to find a job when you say "yes I have my driving licence"

- I hated Latin classes in Junior High School, never learned my lesson, cheated at every test, but I was so bad that I was wrong in my answers even if I had my cribs !
