Working from home as an independent is really really hard !!
I love what I do for my rockstars, but I think I need a real job with an OFFICE !!
I should change my wallpaper and write "You should be working!" on it, everywhere !!!
What's my typical day ?
08:30 - wake up. Those days it can be a little bit earlier because it's really hot outside, and my window sucks, and it's really really hot in my room !
09:00 - after the breakfast, I turn on my laptop. Check my emails, check on facebook, check my blog and the new posts of the others, check the job offers ...
09:45 - I leave home to go to the driving school. Following the days, I choose to stay one or two hours ... one or two series of questions ...
12:... - lunch
13:00 - (except on Monday) let's do some work for the rockers. Sometimes, the first part of the afternoon is used for the f* databases of radios and magazines.
During the rest of the afternoon, I try to resist to go back on Facebook and do stupid things : stupid applications like Farmville, Tresure Isle or Frontierville (the last one, I should black-list Charlotte !! It's because of her !! No I cannot do that, I love her !!)
The second part of the afternoon, around 16:00 is used for the emailing : journalists, bars, all the people who need the informations about my boys.
Sometimes, in between, I have important chat on MSN or Skype with Ilo (ok, when she says that my Fishboy is really cute, it's not important !) or W.
By the way, I hope his next message won't be
" - Hey you know I'm working with that band ..."
It's not that I don't care, but I perfectly know what's hidden behind this:
" - hey, could you find some gigs for them in Paris ?"
=> NO ! You never answer to my last question - the one about contract and money - so my answer is NO NO NO !!)
On Monday, it's different. Because after lunch I take one hour to watch the last True Blood episode, and begin to work after it !
19:00 - I close the documents about the boys. Dinner time after it. Evening are free ... Well, not everyday ... Sometimes, Ilo needs to tell me something and so we spend 2 or 3 more hours talking on MSN : new ideas with the medias, new questions to send to the boys ...
Those days are quiet and really hard. Ilo is still in York (yes, I'm terribly jealous, and yes she saw the concert on June 25th, and yes she's spent good time with the boys), working with ABF, I'm alone in Paris, working on the gigs !!! I need some rest !
I need some rest ... Ok, I turn off the database during one hour and watch a new episode of Sons Of Anarchy with a tea !
