12. Organize successful concerts : done.
A Joker's Rage played two nights in Paris. Not a lot of people the first night, more the second night. They were so gOOd ! I consider that like a success.
Talk To Angels played in Compiègne and won few more fans. Success ? I cannot say, I was too tired to go.
The Dunwell Brothers Band will play next week in France. Two nights are booked. We miss two others, and it's so f* hard to find a place ... Why ? Because of the f* World Cup ! Bars and pubs prefers a stupid football game than a great rock concert !
21. Work with Baboon Dandy again : done, or not.
He sent me new tracks, and ... ... I don't like his new sound ...
Last year, he made a TV Show, the Star Academy (Pop Idol). Before that, he was playing a nice soul music. Since he left (well, since he's been eliminated), his music changed, and ... ...
I listen to his new track many many times, saying to myself
" - Listen, yes it's and different, but try one more time, maybe you will change your mind !"
Nope ... ...
23. Ride more : done since the sunshine is back !
Two rides of the Grand Canal every week. So 14 km per week.
Last week end I couldn't make my usual ride, because I had to leave for Geneva. I made it when I came back. It was so hard !!!! But it was so great. Monday afternoon, circa 17h. Nice weather, and nobody around !! (The Palace is closed on Monday, but the Grand Canal is open, so, no tourist !!!!) Just, perfect !!
42. Being a VIP : done ?
No, I was not really a VIP during that crazy week. I was a Staff Member ! But because our crazy challenge is to change my four Scottish rock star in BIG SUPERSTAR, one day I will be a VIP !

52. Follow a band on tour : almost done
It wasn't really a tour last week. But, the real tour, the crazy one will be in September.
New bio tomorrow. Phone calls, emails, everything from tomorrow to September !

In the Subway with A Joker's Rage, going to the Abracadabar. They looked at the numbers, colours of the line and names of the stations and deceide they wanted to go to one station : Stalingrad. We needed to change there, and the boss took the picture just a few seconds before Stalingrad !

13. create my own company : yes !
Well, for the moment, I think that Ilo and I will try a little association. But we really really need it. 4 bands and half, everyone wants a tour, the French law says : If you organized more than 6 gigs in a year, you need a professional licence ! And this licence, you cannot ask it with your own name, no, you have to belong to a society or an association !
If we do more than 6 gigs and that we have a control from the SACEM (the Society for the French Copyrights), and we will have to pay a huge fine !!
So I think that tomorrow I will go to my wonderful book shop that is selling a lot of great book about music industry to fine some that will help me to create my association !!
But now, time to shut down the laptop and try to think about something else than my bands !

RépondreSupprimerNo problem for the tours in England. Because they are British and Scottish, they're already touring there, and usual it's free concerts, so everybody is a VIP ...
