Three good things that have happened in the past 30 days...
I started this challenge on November 28th.

- Josh's gig was dying day after day because of the venue, I saved it in 36 hours, and it was a success ! December 12th was a success, even if my friends all declined ... (except Ilo, but, Ilo, it's not the same)

- My sister left this morning, my brother is leaving this evening. We spent a week all together : no fight ! Pretty good, it never happen ... (we all have strong personality...)

- My lovely Charlotte gave birth to a beautiful boy named Milo on December 4th.

December and 2010 are almost over... Do I think about good resolutions ? ...

Nah !

Day 29 – Something you could never get tired of doing.

There are a lot of things I love to do...

I love watching the rain falling from the sky, when I'm home, with a cup of tea or chocolate.

I love watching the stars at night.

I love watching the sea and all the waves.

I love listening to the music.

I love trying new outfits.

I love painting my nails.

I love spending hours watching some pictures or funny videos.

But, I don't know if one day I will be tired of doing that...

The thing I'm choosing is :

watching a fire, and trying to take a good picture of it !

This fire was one of our fire-camp during our 2008 summer-camp, my last one as the big chief. After this crazy week, I put my yellow shirt back to the closet, and turned the page. 

I tried 5 or 6 pictures before this one ! And I really like it !

Today was supposed to be Day 30, but because of Christmas it's only Day 29 ... Sorry about that. 

I hope you enjoyed your Christmas time.

Time for me to work on my 2011 rock concerts : I need to write some updates on Josh's bio, and need to finish iMMa's one ! 

I also need to read the user's guide of my new camera... Because Santa brought me a beautiful camera (this one : Nikon D5000), but I need to know how it works before using it for real (ok, we did some pictures the other day... like, this one...)

And then, I need to call back the driving school, and and and !!

Day 26 – A photo of somewhere you’ve been to.

Wow ! Another hard post !

I think that I travelled a lot, saw a lot of new places. All those travels were amazing, and so... I don't know what to choose...

One of my first travels was England, because my brother's godfather is british. I also went to Belgium (Bruxels and Bruges) many many times, to Netherlands (Amsterdam and Liddle), Italy...

Speaking of Italy, the Lakes are one of my favourite memories... I went to Milan (twice), Bologna, Genova, Roma (my favourite travel, I think), visited the Umbria (Spello, Assisi, Sienna...) ... and dream about going back to Roma and visit Venizia and Firenze !

England (London, Leeds) many times, I love London !! Scotland twice (Edinburgh, Glasgow) ! Ireland once (see all my posts from this summer).

I left Europe only once, for New York. It was absolutely magic !!

In France, I saw Britain, I love the South West, I went to Cannes, I love Burgundy, I love the Alsace...

So ... a picture of somewhere I've been to...

When we came back to Mâcon last year (November 2009) I asked to my parents if we can go there. And so, we went. It was amazing !!! Love this place !!

Day 25 – What’s in your purse ?

Before telling you what's in my purse, I would like to say that I'm really really angry !

You may know that I'm driving again, I may pass the driving test soon....
May may may...

Late November : snowwwwwwww. Paris was crazy.

Early December : snowwwwwww. The same.

Last week : just a little bit of snow. Two hours driving, everything was perfect. Jamel (the boss of my driving school) told me that they may have something for me, plus, the weather will not be snow but rain.

This week, office on Monday, driving school the rest of the week. 

Excuse me, but why the weather girl change the rain in snow ????

Today is Dad's birthday, and so, around 17h00 Mum and I started to prepare the dinner... Left my mobile in my room and didn't hear that it rang...

Message : "Hi, this is Nadia from the driving school, you cannot drive tomorrow between 11h and 13h, but we hope that you will be able to drive around 14h, I call you back tomorrow morning..."

My window was closed, listening to her message, hearing "you cannot drive tomorrow",

I open and see that ...

It's almost 21h00, and it's still snowing !! I'm sooooooooo angry !!

Plus, Dad was supposed to be at home at 19h00 for the dinner... He left the office a little bit late (around 19h00) and... we don't know where he is...  (ok, I type this sentence too fast... phone call, I think it's him, and so if he's calling, that means that he looking for a place to park the car... Great ! I'm hungry !!)

Anyway, today was Day 25... What's in my purse ???

In my purse : gloves, hand cream/lipstick, agenda, checkbook (the black thing with an sticker "Yuksek"), a notebook, my driving book, pencil, money, wallet, cigarettes, mirror, tissues, keys. Sometimes there are also : bottle of water, biscuits, gums, book...And now I wonder why my back hurts....

But now, time to drink champagne with Parents and all the brothers and sister (yes, my big brother arrived this morning...)

Because it was a gift, from the artist, because I made an incredible job.

Day 23 – 15 facts about you.

Almost the holidays, and so, everything is really really slow at work...

I wanted to work on the website of the orchestra, but it's impossible, the website is blocked... The only thing I can do is write new text... I don't want to write new texts... I want to add some pictures and videos, add new concerts... 

Do have I to watch the snow falling from the sky all day long ?

Ok, so you want to know 15 facts about myself... 15 facts you don't know ?

1. Nobody at work, except me... I was thinking about reading my "wonderful" book for the driving test. I guess it's the same for you, but since few years, in France, when you're having the practical test (so the driving), your inspector is asking you a question about the "inside of the car" and another about the "outside of the car". So, once they asked me to turn on my left indicator, once they asked me what does the blue signal means... Outside, they asked me to check the lights and explain why they were good. 

Some questions are really easy, and sometimes really stupid (tell me why some questions are "open your window" and others are "show where the fuse are"...)

2. Right now, I really really cold : the heater is on since 09h30 (when I arrived) and it's 10h58 ... It's like I'm working in an igloo !!!! Can't work with gloves (it's hard to type with big woolen-gloves), can't work with my hat or scarf because they are still wet (because of the snow)

3. Few days ago, I met my banker because I have to close one of my bank account... He gave me a lot of papers to read quickly... Didn't have the time to read it yet, and the idea of meeting him again to give him signatures and other stuffs is killing me. He's nice and I think that this guy has a great career (he has no diploma, he began as the guy behind the counter, and now, many years later, he's the chief of one of the best private bank in Paris... pretty good !!)... but ... I don't want to see him.

4. Many weeks ago, I clicked on "submit" to create my own company... Since, I received a lot of papers... Didn't have the time to read it and to take care of it !! I have to speed it up, because some of the papers must be completed before December 31st... Thank God, holidays are tonight.

5. In 2006, New Year's Eve was in New York City. In 2007 it was in Edinburgh, in 2008 it was at home, in 2009 it was in Berlin... Don't want to be in Versailles this year... I was thinking about London or Glasgow... but I think that... it will be at home !

6. I'm still cold !!

7. My sister arrived on Wednesday. My brother will arrive on Wednesday evening. In between, Neil's birthday, and on Wednesday, Dad's birthday. Then Christmas with the family, at home, as usual. I need to pack the Christmas gifts...

8. It's still snowing outside, and I don't like it !

9. I have to check two contacts in Filemaker, need to check the contracts of the musicians from our last concert (12.12.2010), need to write a french bio about iMMa, and wait for Jack's email... Won't be enough for today because : Filemaker = 5 minutes, contracts = 5 minutes. Ok, iMMa... I'm on it since Saturday... Don't know how to write it, plus, I don't have InDesign in this computer. Jack's email... Well he needs to see Josh first... I don't know when they will meet. So, maybe it will be enough for today.

10. I hate recording a voicemail.... Here's the thing : the office will be closed from Dec. 22nd to Jan. 3rd. And so, we have to record a special voicemail to those who wants to call us... But.. there is nobody except ... ME ! When Adeline left this morning she asked me "can you do that please ?"

Well ... NO !!! I hate to do that... 

Because I wrote the press release and sent it to Emilie (who's sick today...), I need to do the VOICEMAIL ! Damn ! 

11. I wanted to leave early today... like ... 16hsomething... Problem is that it's 15h37, I have no idea for the voicemail, and... a guy is supposed to come this afternoon to install a software... Scared... Because the guy knows that I'm leaving at 17h30... And so... I have the feeling that he's gonna come at 17h00... Damn

12. Well... (after another break from this) two good news : voicemail, check (and it's awfull, but I don't care) and the guy called, he's on his way ! Cool !

About me... well... I'm scared about this week ! Yes, I can be easily stressed... And this week, I am !!

Did someone hurt me recently ?

I don't know, I'm not sure... 

Remember my post about the things that makes me happy ? I said "some good friends"... Well...

Last week, at this hour, we were at the restaurant, talking about everything and nothing, Josh was suggesting to play naked. It was fun... I was a little bit sad because all my friends (in Paris) said "Oh, thank you for inviting me but I'm not coming to your concert..." 

So, I think that some of them are my friends just when I need them, sad isn't it ?

Jack talked to me last night on FB chat, and promised me a big email before Christmas because little Josh wants to come back in Paris ! So happyyyy !! Those guys are so sweet !!

And so, someone who has hurt me recently. 

I'm sure that you want me to write one name or two... Well, bingo.

First one. The one who hurts me everyday since I know him... yes I know, it's bad, but what can I do ? I adore that guy, and it's impossible for me to leave him.

So, yes, Edouard hurt me few days ago, no weeks.

Let me explain. 

He left France for South Africa a year ago, if my memory is good. Last summer, I sent him an email because I knew he had some problems for his first album. He asked me if I wanted to work with him, being is agent. I said "ok, but". I told him I wasn't working only for him, that I had others bands. He said nothing.

Few months ago, new email, he told me he was about to come to Paris because he was uncle. Little chat, I told him I wanted to see him... bla bla bla "do we work together or not ?"

I re-answered "yes but", the but was (like the first time) because I had other bands. I said ok, and told him I needed some pics, a press kit, some documents to write a bio... (the usual stuff). I told him that since our last chat I found a real job, and so, that I was working with my artists 2 days/week.

OH MY GOD WHAT DID I WRITE ??

His answer was :

- I don't like how you talk to me

- I asked you to be professional, obviously, you're not

- I won't run after you during my entire life, two years are enough 

- bla bla bla

I was so angry. 

I answered to his email saying that I didn't appreciate that email. That I was professional. I wouldn't have been without telling him that I had others artists and not a lot of time. Being honest mean professional, isn't it ? I also told him that it was more than two years that he was asking me to be his agent, if I always said no until now, it was because I knew nobody and was scared, now I know some people, and feel good. I told him that if he didn't want to accept that so, we had to stop.

No news since that day. I won't try to have news, if he wants something new, he has to ask first, and maybe I will accept, or not....

The other one ?

Well, I don't know if my Fishboy hurt me or not ? Technically, he didn't. We're supposed to work together, nothing more. He has his life in Scotland, I have mine in France. Ok, he doesn't speak a lot, but, that's him. Ok, I would like to see that he sent me an email or that he wants to talk to me on FB or msn... But no...

It doesn't matter, next week I will receive that big email from Jack about Josh... I may have a new favourite protégé, what's wrong ? I know that some of my artists realize what I do for them, and in return, I take care of them ! 

(ok, I love reading one email sent by Erika, my new artist... : I found her a gig in Paris, the gig has been reschedule, she was sad, I told her some good news, and the email was "You're a star !" This email made my day !!)

The week end is almost over here. The snow is still here ! Tomorrow, last day of work before the holidays (I was supposed to work until Wednesday - closure day of the office - but my driving school can give some hours before the end of the year, so I take them !!)

Day 20 – The meaning behind your blog name.

The meaning behind my blog name....

It was hard to find a good name for my blog.... And well, hard to find a name, a title.... For example, I absolutely need a name for my company, and I don't ... But... I think that I will have a name soon... Need to call W. first...

So, my blog is Day by Day...
How can I explain that ?
I try to write everyday. I usual keep everything for myself, without talking, and well, I think that one day, that will kill me (or will give me an awful ulcer !).
So, to not keeping those feelings, good or bad, and because writing will help me to keep all my memories, I choose to create this blog and I called it Day by Day...

Day 19 – Another picture of yourself.

Ok, so, I didn't write him... So no answers.
In fact, I preferred enjoying the afternoon with a little bit of Christmas' shopping with my sister (she arrived yesterday from Montreal)
The afternoon was sweet, and I needed it because the two hours driving this morning was really hard. I made it well, but... I don't know, it was hard, emotionally (because I know I can have the test soon...)

Day 18 – Something you crave a lot.

When I check the list yesterday, I realize I had a doubt on the meaning of "crave", so I check in my dictionary. 

When I saw the meaning, I saw immediately the picture to post !!!

Plus, my brother left home 5 years ago and my sister 1 year 1/2 ...

Day 16 – Your celebrity crush.

Usual, I don't prepare my posts, I just click on "new message" and write. 

But, today is a little bit different, cuz it's day 16, and it's the celebrity crush.... And... well with what I lived today... it was pretty hard to choose THE one. 

And you know what ? Impossible to choose THE one.

I already talked about my two lovely friends Ilo and Leslie. 

Together, at the University, we were Les Coquines (minx). Why ? Well, because we had a lot of fun, a lot of smiles, a lot of funny faces on the pictures... 

Because I am one of them, I MUST have at least 2 or 3 hubbies in the same time !

So... here are my celebrity crush, well no, I'm a Coquine, so here are my famous husbands.

Yesterday was an amazing day and his gig was awesome. I hope that Jack will send me the schedule soon, because I want to find new gigs for 2011 ! One is too short !!

Day 15 – Something you don’t leave the house without.

I didn't post yesterday, because, no time. My day was a little bit crazy.

Everything began in September I think, when W. asked me if I was able to find some gigs in Paris for a new artist... A famous model... 

Famous, famous, never heard about him.
Anyway, I accepted the job, sent some emails, and got an answer : 

"Yes, I know Josh, I met him few years ago in Paris, nice boy, good music..."

The gig was booked on December 12th at Le Pompon - Paris.

John confirmed a lot of things, and sadly, he sent me an email "I left the Pompon, here's the new guy!"

It was the beginning of the problems !! The new guy was never answering to my phone calls and emails, and so at Month -1, I still didn't know the hour of the gig, the second artist, the soundcheck... All the important stuffs !

So, I called back John, ex-Pompon guy. He told me "forget about it, if he's not answering it's because he doesn't care..." 

It was day -7... 

Finally, John suggested me to cancel Pompon's gig and book it at his place, Le Carmen.

I called Jack, Josh's manager, who said "ok, let's do this !"

First victory : a new place

On Friday night, I sent all my last confirmations to Jack, and told him "tell me if you want me to pick you at the airport" "no no that's fine, we will take the train and meet you in the Central..."

Saturday night, email from Jack "well... finally ..." ok, forget about your long and nice sleep on Sunday morning !

So yesterday morning, I left home around 10:30 to go to Roissy-CDG. Of course, I was late, and the boys choose to go outside, so I "visit" the airport twice... Jack told me "we left terminal 2D for 2B", went to 2D 2B, nobody... Phone call "Yes we're outside", ok didn't check outside, I go outside and he told me "I think I see you if you have a red coat..."

First mission : picking Josh, John and Jack at the airport => CHECK

Second mission : go buying train tickets, then go to the hotel without loosing one of them => CHECK

We arrived at the hotel around 14h00, safe. One problem wasn't solve, John's cajon. He needed one, we have none, and all the shops are closed on Sunday.

We left to eat something around 15h00 and spent 2h30 hours at the restaurant, talking about everything and nothing. 

18h00 "boys, time to go to the venue for the soundcheck"

We all went in and all said "OMG !!" 

The place was amazing !! (Pictures soon) And so, the concert was perfect, the night magical, the sleep too short.

09h00, I need to take a shower and leave for work. I sent a SMS to Jack, I hope they all woke up and are in their Eurostar....

Back home at 01h00 am, I didn't post the stuffs I don't leave the house without. So here is my picture : 

I can't leave the house without : mobile, iPod, keys (from home and office) and subway/train/bus card !

I can leave home without coffee and cigarettes because there are a lot of coffees and tobaccos on my way to work !
