Dear 2011

Today is the last day of the year.

Dinner is almost in the fridge. I just need to cook the muffin. 

Chocolate/coconut, like last year... But a surprise ingredient will be added this year....

I think... It's gonna be good !

But before that, I still have few things to do. Cleaning some stuff, buy some books... write the review of this terrible year !

Let's go !

First of all, I'm sorry, I didn't post a lot this December ! 

I've been busy busy and this last week, I really didn't have the time to !

Sister arrived home on Friday morning on December 23rd, Brother and Cc on December 24th just a few hours before my Grand Parents. In between, one of my Dad's satellites decided to play with his nerves, he almost had to go to his office to fix the problems ! 

Christmas was nice, we were 13 (other Grand Parents, Aunts, Uncle, Cousin), we had a lot of fun.

The week was really short, and ended with my brother's birthday, 30 this year. 

Brother and Cc left on Thursday afternoon, sister yesterday morning. The house is so quiet now.... 

My Christmas break "ended" yesterday afternoon when Jack shared his last ideas. 

You know me, I can't say no, so now, it's not one database that I have to check, but three ! Wonderful ! This is why I really really have to buy one book this afternoon !! I have to buy THE French Bible : 

Mine is a 2008 one... TOO OLD !!! Don't tell him that kind of books exists here or he won't need me anymore ! :)

(well, no, in fact you can tell him, it's all in French !) - (now, I feel bad, I swear I'll be nice with him now, and I failed, again ! Sorry darling !)

Anyway ! 

Dear 2011 ! 

It was nice to meet you, but now, it's time for you to go away ! I checked all the posts I wrote in 2011, and what I can say is that, I can't wait to meet 2012 !!!! 

Dear 2011, you started well, and I don't know why, you fuckep up everything !

In January, after many months and hours, I passed the driving test a very last time and finally got it, without telling to the others I was passing ! The same month, I celebrated the first birthday of this blog, and received one of the best gifts ever !!

In February, I booked gigs for a new artists and this gig gave me the opportunity to meet a very old friend. And, because he's the only one who can do that, he broke my heart again and saved it with a smile ! Unfortunately, the first bad news was also in February, when my Mum emailed us to announce us the first death in our family. Tonton Louis was the first to leave.

In March, when I was trying to save one Zizic Maestro concert, the Orchestra announced that my contract was ending late April. It killed me. But March had some good moments : my ancient postman saying "hum, I know that kind of stamp, and because it says Préfecture des Yvelines, I guess it's a Driving Licence !" THANK YOU MISTER POSTMAN !!!!!! :)

In March, I discovered the JOY of how-to-create-a-poster-when-you're-stubborn-and-thank-God-thousand-of-kilometers-and-a-sea-are-between-you !! (another here)

In April, the Orchestra offered me a wonderful Christmas gift : Archive ft Orchestre Lamoureux. I was really sad to leave, but, so happy to see this incredible band on stage ! Later that month, I was leaving home to Gare du Nord to welcome 9 people.... Josh's April tour ...

In May, I realized that working with my boys was really hard, cuz there are so nice that I want more. We had to cancel a part of the tour, and unfortunately, it brings other bad news to my family. I tried to forget my Aunt's cancer with an incredible gig... Jarring Effects crew in Versailles for one night, revenge of the ex-intern !! (French post)

In June, I booked a crazy gig for Music Day, but was unable to fix the last details because of another bad news in the Family. I realized how hard my job can be when I tried to explain to the band I cannot fix it because of personal problems. When they answered they didn't care about what happened to me, I should have answer "It's the second Great-Uncle I lose in less than 6 months and I'm praying for my Great-Aunt who's fighting against a liver-cancer". I cannot say that. The gig was "sold-out !" (it was free so, we can't say sold out). 

In July, we celebrated Mum's birthday with the entire family, and met Cc, my brother's girlfriend. I booked two gigs for Gary in September, and had to deal with the poster for another tour. I kinda lost my nerves because, I spent so much time on that stupid poster that I cannot work properly on the communication for Gary. I was really sad, and of course, there is somebody who doesn't know that !

In August, I left two weeks in Italy and finally visited Venezia ! Just two days after, I was back to work for posters... In my concern, I consider it ended really bad.

In September, I had two empty gigs, a great one, and another bad news. After that, it's like only bad stuffs happened to me. 

In October, I spent almost everyday at Job Center, and was afraid about going to L'International on October 11rst.

November was a pretty bad month too. Other fights again Job Center, and paranoia in my mind ! London was supposed to be a great trip, and, well, I think that it was a bad idea...

And what about December ? I celebrated one year of posters, got ready for a great Christmas time, and thought about resolutions. And if I can add one, I'd like to add that in 2012, I'd like to become egoistic and heartless. To be sure that people will stop playing with my nerves and feelings !

Now it's time to finish my tea and leave to buy my book ! Happy new year readers !
