The Italian Post... Part 1

Since back-to-school day on Monday, it's raining, again and again... I guess Summer is gone...

I put away all my Summer clothes from my closet, and replaced them by my fall and winter clothes... Sad !

So, because of the cold, rain, grumpy mood and everything, I decided it was time for me to post some of my holidays pix !! Maybe it will bring us a little bit of sunshine !

DAY 0 : Versailles - clothes' crisis ...

Fortunately, everything entered in my luggage...

DAY 1 : From Versailles to Aosta...
DAY 2 : From Aosta to the Lake...

Like 3 years ago when we went to Umbria, we chose to stop by Aosta... Easier, shorter, better... Next day, we left Aosta to Torri del Benaco.

I put my feet in the Lake but didn't swim...
A little bit cold, and not enough time !

DAY 3 : Vicenza, the Paladin Villas...

I followed Architecture classes, and we spent sooooooo many hours talking about the Rotonda ! It was terrible, even if the teacher was amazing... But, honestly, it was better to see it for real and not just a bad black and white copy !!!

DAY 4 : Ferry to Sirmione...

First stop, Gabriele d'Annunzio's house...

Dedicated to the men of my life ? (I should not say that !!)

Next stop, around Sirmione...

Do you know how hard it is to take a good picture eating an ice cream, trying to not slip it out and being careful of where people are going because they didn't see I was trying to take my ice cream in picture... Well, it's really hard !

I saw those shoes, love those shoes, didn't buy the shoes.
It was the last one, and it was too small !!!!

DAY 5 : IN FAIR VERONA...

At night, Opera at Verona's Arena... Nabucco...

For the record, just before the beginning of the last act, rain. But when I say rain it was 10 drops, maybe less. But, because it's outside and that set/musicians/singers/everybody is not protected, they said "we don't know if we can play the final act"... People left because people thought that rain will continue. Rain stopped, and people from the best seats were gone. Dad and I went to some of the very best seats (our were pretty good too) and ok, it's forbidden and I hate doing it, I took just few pictures of the final act. All the others are during intermissions.

DAY 6 : Back to Vicenza...

We went back to Vicenza cuz there is a LOT of things to see there, and first time, we just visit the villas, cuz Mum was sick. We had to visit the villas the first time cuz we have to do reservations to visit (because of the fresques), and when we booked our visits, we booked the first day...
