Back to the real life

Last Monday, I didn't sleep a lot, too hard. I was so excited !!

On Tuesday morning, as usual, I was late for the train, and so, I was late to pick the band at the Gare du Nord.

After a short talk, the band decided to go to the venue first, and not stop by my place. So we went. Only problem was that on THAT day, there were big strikes on the RER ! So, we needed around 2 hours to go back to Versailles (instead of 1h...). Of course, W. called me to tell me that he was stucked in Paris. No way for him to come to Versailles. He was really sad, and believe me, I was too, cuz if he was stuck there, that meant I will be all alone that night !

The band took a little rest at the venue, and then, soundcheck.

Around 17h00, I left the venue to pick up my car and took Erika to go to her TV interview. I don't know how the GPS works, we lost ourselves a little bit, and finally arrived there just in time !

She prepared herself for the TV interview, did it in French, and did it perfectly !!

Then, we went back to Versailles, I left her at the venue, and I went back home to park the car. When I came back to meet the band, I learned that the gig will have around 1h of delay !

Thanks God, there was no more rain at this moment. The band was supposed to play at 20h, at this moment there was people outside, but not that much. Because of the delay, they played at 21h, and there was a lotttttttttttt of people !

The band played an amazing gig ! W. called me back to ask me how it was and confirmed the fact he won't come because of the strike and because there was no taxi (because of the traffic !)

At 22h, we arrived at the venue. The band took five minutes of rest (so did I) and they were back on stage at 22h30 for the second gig ! It was full of people. Maybe 200 people, a lot came because they loved the first one. It was amazing !!!

The night ended around midnight. The band sold CD's, made a lot of photos and autographs, and people left. The venue provided us some diner and spare drinks, we went back home around 2h00 AM.

The next day, I woke up around 09:00, I let them sleep, they woke up around 11h00, took a breakfast and the band left around 13h30.

That was short, it was not the usual band, the boys were missing, but it was a great gig !

On Thursday, I met W. in Paris just before he leaves. We talked about the gig and the next tour : Josh Beech & the Johns, October tour in Germany. Some French gigs before or after Germany. Plus, new artists... A lot of work for me !
