Day 23 – 15 facts about you.

Almost the holidays, and so, everything is really really slow at work...

I wanted to work on the website of the orchestra, but it's impossible, the website is blocked... The only thing I can do is write new text... I don't want to write new texts... I want to add some pictures and videos, add new concerts... 

Do have I to watch the snow falling from the sky all day long ?

Ok, so you want to know 15 facts about myself... 15 facts you don't know ?

1. Nobody at work, except me... I was thinking about reading my "wonderful" book for the driving test. I guess it's the same for you, but since few years, in France, when you're having the practical test (so the driving), your inspector is asking you a question about the "inside of the car" and another about the "outside of the car". So, once they asked me to turn on my left indicator, once they asked me what does the blue signal means... Outside, they asked me to check the lights and explain why they were good. 

Some questions are really easy, and sometimes really stupid (tell me why some questions are "open your window" and others are "show where the fuse are"...)

2. Right now, I really really cold : the heater is on since 09h30 (when I arrived) and it's 10h58 ... It's like I'm working in an igloo !!!! Can't work with gloves (it's hard to type with big woolen-gloves), can't work with my hat or scarf because they are still wet (because of the snow)

3. Few days ago, I met my banker because I have to close one of my bank account... He gave me a lot of papers to read quickly... Didn't have the time to read it yet, and the idea of meeting him again to give him signatures and other stuffs is killing me. He's nice and I think that this guy has a great career (he has no diploma, he began as the guy behind the counter, and now, many years later, he's the chief of one of the best private bank in Paris... pretty good !!)... but ... I don't want to see him.

4. Many weeks ago, I clicked on "submit" to create my own company... Since, I received a lot of papers... Didn't have the time to read it and to take care of it !! I have to speed it up, because some of the papers must be completed before December 31st... Thank God, holidays are tonight.

5. In 2006, New Year's Eve was in New York City. In 2007 it was in Edinburgh, in 2008 it was at home, in 2009 it was in Berlin... Don't want to be in Versailles this year... I was thinking about London or Glasgow... but I think that... it will be at home !

6. I'm still cold !!

7. My sister arrived on Wednesday. My brother will arrive on Wednesday evening. In between, Neil's birthday, and on Wednesday, Dad's birthday. Then Christmas with the family, at home, as usual. I need to pack the Christmas gifts...

8. It's still snowing outside, and I don't like it !

9. I have to check two contacts in Filemaker, need to check the contracts of the musicians from our last concert (12.12.2010), need to write a french bio about iMMa, and wait for Jack's email... Won't be enough for today because : Filemaker = 5 minutes, contracts = 5 minutes. Ok, iMMa... I'm on it since Saturday... Don't know how to write it, plus, I don't have InDesign in this computer. Jack's email... Well he needs to see Josh first... I don't know when they will meet. So, maybe it will be enough for today.

Yes, in between I : 

- checked the Filemaker

- checked the contracts

- cleared my email box

- learned that I had to write a press release ...

10. I hate recording a voicemail.... Here's the thing : the office will be closed from Dec. 22nd to Jan. 3rd. And so, we have to record a special voicemail to those who wants to call us... But.. there is nobody except ... ME ! When Adeline left this morning she asked me "can you do that please ?"

Well ... NO !!! I hate to do that... 

Because I wrote the press release and sent it to Emilie (who's sick today...), I need to do the VOICEMAIL ! Damn ! 

11. I wanted to leave early today... like ... 16hsomething... Problem is that it's 15h37, I have no idea for the voicemail, and... a guy is supposed to come this afternoon to install a software... Scared... Because the guy knows that I'm leaving at 17h30... And so... I have the feeling that he's gonna come at 17h00... Damn

12. Well... (after another break from this) two good news : voicemail, check (and it's awfull, but I don't care) and the guy called, he's on his way ! Cool !

About me... well... I'm scared about this week ! Yes, I can be easily stressed... And this week, I am !!

14. I can't wait to be in 2011 ! I think it's gonna be an amazing year !

15. I'm hungry ... the guy just left, and I'm waiting for a phone call... Oops.. phone call is ok, voicemail, shareware, everything is ok. So, 15th fact about myself : I'm in HOLIDAYS !!!!
