Day 15 – Something you don’t leave the house without.

I didn't post yesterday, because, no time. My day was a little bit crazy.

Everything began in September I think, when W. asked me if I was able to find some gigs in Paris for a new artist... A famous model... 

Famous, famous, never heard about him.
Anyway, I accepted the job, sent some emails, and got an answer : 

"Yes, I know Josh, I met him few years ago in Paris, nice boy, good music..."

The gig was booked on December 12th at Le Pompon - Paris.

John confirmed a lot of things, and sadly, he sent me an email "I left the Pompon, here's the new guy!"

It was the beginning of the problems !! The new guy was never answering to my phone calls and emails, and so at Month -1, I still didn't know the hour of the gig, the second artist, the soundcheck... All the important stuffs !

So, I called back John, ex-Pompon guy. He told me "forget about it, if he's not answering it's because he doesn't care..." 

It was day -7... 

Finally, John suggested me to cancel Pompon's gig and book it at his place, Le Carmen.

I called Jack, Josh's manager, who said "ok, let's do this !"

First victory : a new place

On Friday night, I sent all my last confirmations to Jack, and told him "tell me if you want me to pick you at the airport" "no no that's fine, we will take the train and meet you in the Central..."

Saturday night, email from Jack "well... finally ..." ok, forget about your long and nice sleep on Sunday morning !

So yesterday morning, I left home around 10:30 to go to Roissy-CDG. Of course, I was late, and the boys choose to go outside, so I "visit" the airport twice... Jack told me "we left terminal 2D for 2B", went to 2D 2B, nobody... Phone call "Yes we're outside", ok didn't check outside, I go outside and he told me "I think I see you if you have a red coat..."

First mission : picking Josh, John and Jack at the airport => CHECK

Second mission : go buying train tickets, then go to the hotel without loosing one of them => CHECK

We arrived at the hotel around 14h00, safe. One problem wasn't solve, John's cajon. He needed one, we have none, and all the shops are closed on Sunday.

We left to eat something around 15h00 and spent 2h30 hours at the restaurant, talking about everything and nothing. 

18h00 "boys, time to go to the venue for the soundcheck"

We all went in and all said "OMG !!" 

The place was amazing !! (Pictures soon) And so, the concert was perfect, the night magical, the sleep too short.

09h00, I need to take a shower and leave for work. I sent a SMS to Jack, I hope they all woke up and are in their Eurostar....

Back home at 01h00 am, I didn't post the stuffs I don't leave the house without. So here is my picture : 

I can't leave the house without : mobile, iPod, keys (from home and office) and subway/train/bus card !

I can leave home without coffee and cigarettes because there are a lot of coffees and tobaccos on my way to work !
