My essay was about the myth of the black man who sold his soul the the Devil against the virtuosity in Guitar play. The original man, the one who sold is Robert Johnson.
Yesterday, I was at a CD store, looking for different things (that I didn't find), and I found two CDs of Robert Johnson. I bought them both.
Back home, I put one the the CD in my Hi-Fi, and I was back to Lyon, back to the class room D108, back to the class made by Gilbert Rapatel ! So, thank you Robert Johnson ! Here are some of his best songs (my opinion), and two surprises ...
Crossroads - by Robert Johnson
Come On In My Kitchen - by Robert Johnson
Last Fair Deal Gone - by Robert Johnson
I was listening to the CD, here comes "Come in my kitchen", and I began to sing it too ... Same thing with "Last Fair Deal Gone" ... I look at the titles, and realize why I know those two songs ... Thank you True Blood, watching this TV Show made me discover Crooked Still, and so, their two covers ...
Come On In My Kitchen - covered by Crooked Still
Last Fair Deal Gone - covered by Crooked Still
