Sunday Stealing, cooking, votes !

Hi everybody,

First of all I saw that Blogger changed a few stuff, and well, I don't really enjoy it. Not really cuz... I liked the old interface, this one is strange... Like the new Facebook Timeline...
But, I admit, I like some of there changes, check the new TRACK1Music France page. Cute, isn't it ? I just need to change the background to add the logo somewhere !

Anyway.
My parents left this morning to spend the week in Montreal with my sister, and so, I decided that this upcoming week is gonna be a lazy-off-week. In fact, next week, there is one of our biggest music Festival (le Printemps de Bourges), so, all the medias and label teams will be off to go there.
I remember when I was an intern at Jarring Effects, the week of that Festival, the all-team went. Two people stood at the office, Hélène and I. AWFULL !!!! Nobody, no email, no phonecall, just her and I listening to music, watching videos and playing games on the computer (we had to stay at the office, just in case somebody called...)
Because of that memory, I decided to be almost in holidays next week. I will try to check my emails twice a day, and connect to Skype one hour. Not more. (I just have to say it to my colleagues...)
I have to check a little bit cuz, a lot of things changed about the Music Day 2012, I'm waiting for some answers and will have to meet the venue... But... don't want to do more. I need a break.

I think I will spend the week : cooking, doing sports (if the weather is ok, cuz since two weeks it's only rain, like in November...), going to cinema and sleep !!!

About cooking...
Check this picture I took this afternoon....
 and this one ...

This afternoon I tried to cook some macarons. I don't know who says it was easy cuz it's not !!!!
Well, the preparation is easy, you just have to mix white eggs, sugar, almonds, blablabla. BUT, here were my problems.
I don't know why, all the eggs were double eggs, so, a lot of yellow and not that much white. I tried to beat them until stiff and... nothing. I did it again, and it was perfect. But, the new eggs were also double...I used 3 instead of 2 !
It cooked perfectly in the oven and were really pretty when I took them of the plate. BUT, problem number 2, the miss who wrote my recipe book didn't write the recipe of the chocolate ganache I had to add !
I tried, and I think it was to liquid... so... after the one hour in the fridge, they look like this....
It's not Ladurée, but, it's pretty tasty !! I'm happy.

Because the recipe book made me do too much ganache, I used the rest to do those muffins :
chocolate, liquid cream, coconut, chocolate chip, flour, sugar, one egg, 20 minutes in the oven = PARADISE !!!!

I think I will try other recipe during the week, and so, if I find no job, I will open a french bakery somewhere in Scotland (about Scotland, I watched Braveheart today for the first time : Mel Gibson can't speak with Scottish accent, it was awful, the movie terribly long, and Tommy Flanagan died one hour before the end of the movie, soooo sad ! - at least, it made me have a very nice time livetwitting it with one of my friends !)

And now, it's 00:50AM, so it's Sunday, and I can answer the Sunday Stealing. I prefer doing it now, cuz after that my mind will think about one thing : who's gonna be our next President.
To be honest, I have no idea. The candidates are all promising impossible things, and it's terrible. Maybe it's another reason for me to leave the country, don't you think ?
So, tomorrow, first round... We have to chose one candidate for the next tour... My bets are, as usual, 2nd tour between Left and Right, so it will be Nicolas Sarkozy against François Hollande...

So, Sunday Stealing.

1. My uncle once : push me in his swimming pool. I was around 5, it was Summer, and there is a great picture of that episode somewhere in my picture album !

2. Never in my life : took drugs.

3. When I was five : I had a very good friend called Alice, we loved dressing up everytime we were seeing each other, people thought we were sisters.

4. High School was : an awful moment in my life. I preferred Junior High !!

5. I will never forget : my first meeting with my Fishboy. Sooooooo unbelievable. I asked him 10 times in less than 5 minutes what was A Joker's Rage and what he was doing for life. He was looking at me with a strange smile meaning "is she dumb or completely drunk ?" ... Not at all, I was just not understanding his Scottish accent !!!!

6. I once met : a man who were a specialist about Napoleon 1er. I was an intern at the Fondation Napoleon and he spent a morning talking to me about a battle, don't remember which one. He was so passionate that we could live his speech. It was absolutely magic !

7. There’s this girl I know who : I don't know if I have to like her or not cuz when she talks to me, I feel like she wanna do my job instead of my. And, no way. I kicked my ass to have what I have now for those bands, noway I leave !

8. Once, at a bar : I continue the conversation as if it never stops... 10 years later ! It was with Anne, and since few weeks, we see each other once/week, and it's awesome. Stupid jokes and stupid conversation as if we were still in Junior High !!

9. By noon, I’m usually : Go down to the kitchen, take a piece of bread and a Vache Qui Rit... Waiting for the lunch. If it's not Vache Qui Rit, it's another piece of cheese !

10. Last night : I was with my Mum watching Tv...

11. If only I had : the strength to move out the country to follow my bands !

12. Next time I go to church : I hope it won't be funerals !

13. Jonathan Frid : hmm, don't know him... and about to Google it... (but now that I see the articles, I remember reading in the news that he passed away...)

14. What worries me most : job.

15. When I turn my head left, I see : wall

16. When I turn my head right, I see : Hi-Fi and window

17. You know I’m lying when : you don't know when I'm lying !!

18. What I miss most about the 80s : I don't have a lot of memories of the 80's cuz I was born in 86, but probably the tapes and VCR !

19. If I was a character in Shakespeare, I’d be : One of the girls from The Taming of the Shrew !!

20. By this time next year : job, flat, bf

Have a goodnight !!
