So yes, this week was some kind of bday week because I turned 26 on Thursday and had the pleasure to have a good news/day, that I took as early gifts !
On Monday, I learned that the wonderful Gary Clark Jr will play this Summer in Paris and I'm gonna buy tickets very soon !
On Tuesday, for "once", the JobCenter guy said something interesting. He understood that I really didn't appreciate his last mistake that was not answering to my email about specific contracts. The story is that I applied for a very very interesting job late February/early March. The guy was really interested by my profile. The only thing I needed was to know if I'm eligible to the specific contract they were suggesting. I wrote thousands of emails to the JobCenter guy, nothing. I finally went, and learnt that no, I was not. Few days later, monthly appointment with this guy, this time by phone, he told me that for him I was not eligible, so he didn't need to answer, and because he didn't know the company, that meant that it was not really interesting. WTF ???!!! He knows nothing about my supposed-job and the companies in my sector and he dares to judge ???!! NO FUCKING WAY ! I saw him Tuesday morning for April's appointment, he said he screwed up 10 000 times in 10 minutes and said "you know, my problem is that I think that in Cultural Industry, companies used those contracts too much, and it's not good". OF COURSE THEY DO MAN !!! Cultural Industry NEEDS employees but has NO MONEY, the advantage of this contract is that Ministry pays a part of the employee salary and social charges are reduced. So YES, they need it if they want to hire people !! Answer "Oh ... I didn't know."
Anyway, I told you he said something interesting this time. In fact, it was the first thing of the appointment that was interested, after that he said "i'm sorry 10 000 times" and made his speech about the specific contracts. The interesting thing is that few days before I went there, he had a call from a guy in Versailles who's working in a booking agency, and who may hire people soon. Ok, it's only "may" but, for once, JobCenter guy had a good idea : keep that in his mind and tells me !
Later that day, I stopped by the Royal Factory where we lengthy talked about Music Day and music in Versailles. A lot of very good ideas came out, and now I'm waiting for answers from specific persons... CAN'T WAIT !!
On Wednesday, the beautiful short review about Josh Beech and the Johns came out. Thank you soooooo much Cosmopolitan France !!! Just few lines, but my favourite pix, it made my day !! Now, you have no idea how excited I am about the upcoming single. I think it's gonna be easy to have more !
Yesterday was my birthday. I am 26 now. And, well, this last year has been pretty hard. Too many losses, too many crisis. Too hard. Thank God, I have the feeling that 2012 and this new year are better ! Bday means love, messages and gift, and well, I was really pleased ! Remember that post ? So, please meet :
Yes, my first bday gift was the wonderful tricolors shoes by Repetto !! Can't wait to wear them !!
In fact no, this was not the first. The first one was a cute box made by my Mum. The last was a beautiful skirt offered by brother and sister.
