Ok, I admit it, I like reading tabloid. But, because those I like are really bad, I prefer reading it online rather buying the magazine. Not good, I know.
Plus, the interesting thing reading the online version is that you can comment the articles, things you can't do when you read the magazine !
I don't usually comment. I made it two or three times, not more.
First time was because the article was talking about Jay-Z, the fact that he was suiting somebody or a shop because of copyrights. Another time, it was an article about Coldplay and one of their trials about copyrights. I think it was the Joe Satriani vs Coldplay chapter... You know me, you know how much I care about music and copyrights (1, 2, 3 posts) I read the comments and was mad !!! Really really mad !!

Readers of this tabloid are mostly teenagers, and of course, they knew nothing about business and what the real problem is. I wrote comments, easy comments, explaining what's the deal, why copyrights are important and blablabla. Two years of Copyrights classes in 10 lines ! Comments after mine were saying "thank you, for once somebody's writing something intelligent !" .End.
Yesterday, this same website posted an article about Johnny Depp saying he's leaving France because France wants him to become French citizen, and so, pay taxes. Johnny Depp said he didn't want to become a French citizen and so, he may move back to the USA. That's not the point.
The point is in the comments. Somebody says "he's rich, he doesn't want to pay taxes, it's awfull, he should be ashamed saying that" another "it's always the same, when you're rich you don't wanna pay taxes, when you're poor, you have millions of taxes to pay and no choice" another one and after that, I closed the page "he's totally right, nobody, in France, is proud being French, I would love to do the same, you can't be proud being French". What ?
I mean :
WHAT ??????
So the readers of this website are more than stupid ?
Ok, we may have some problems in France, our politic may not be the best in the world, but, it's the same everywhere. There is a worldwide crisis and Politics do their best to find solutions. In a decent country, there are taxes to pay. It's completely normal, and everybody has to pay taxes if they want police, security, decent roads, schools and and and. Rich people don't pay taxes. Wrong. And I know what I'm talking about. My parents are rich people and pay A LOT of taxes on their fortune. And, you know what, those taxes are here to help poor people.
Ok, it's always hard to pay taxes, because here in France there is a lot of different taxes, and so, it's like we're paying taxes every day. But, I accept paying it, because I think that my country is a wonderful country. I'm lucky being French living in France, a free country.
A lot of people doesn't like our President, M. Sarkozy.
Why ?
Because he's grumpy, he talks to much, he's rich, blablabla. Maybe, but he's doing his best, like other Presidents, to find solution against the crisis.
Being French is magical and I realize it day by day, everytime I'm joking with my artists.
None of them is French. They are English, Italian, half-Japanese, and I'm the French girl. It's so great to talk about my country and my culture with them. Hearing them talking about what they love in France or hate. I realize how lucky I can be living in this country.
Yes, I'm dreaming about moving outside France because sometimes I'm tired of living here in Versailles.
But you know what, I'm like Johnny Depp.
If I move in a foreign country, if they ask me to become a citizen of this country, I may say no.
(but, marrying a guy who's not French and having kids with double nationality, who will be able to speak our two languages, I'd love it !!!)
