Zizic Maestro - Joyeux Anniversaire !

Tomorrow, new concert for the kids. The first anniversary concert, because this year, the Orchestra turns 130 !

Tomorrow, Zizic Maestro. Program, Siegfried Idyll.
10 musicians. 1 comedian.
1 dead Flore !

Next Sunday, concert with Jean-François Zygel as pianist and Olivier Tardy as conductor.
I cannot tell you the program, because it's a surprise.

Next next Sunday, last anniversary concert with Marco Parisotto as conductor.
Program : Wagner. Why ? Because Charles Lamoureux created his Orchestra because he was a huge fan of Wagner.

But, let's talk about tomorrow.

Ten musicians, because two quintets (cords and winds).
First surprise on Friday morning : no double bass and a double bass player... Ouch !
Second surprise : well no. No second surprise.
Just an amazing band of musicians, and a great play written by Corinne.
This time, François is not playing with her as usual... It doesn't matter, her text his really great, all the musicians are really good (special mention to Didier - oboe - and his little female voice when he needs to use it ! or to Jean Michel - bassoon - who told us that he was not a comedian but who can be a very good comedian !!).
Tomorrow is the last rehearsal and the concert. My bed is just behind me, I want to sleep !

Just for you, the music they will play tomorrow.
They won't play the entire thing, just extracts ! And you know what, I hate Wagner, but I like this one ! Maybe thanks to them !

Siegfried Idyll - composed by Richard Wagner

(I will have some pictures of the rehearsal... Just need to know if the musicians accept to see them online !!)
