Sunday Stealing

1. A song that gives you goosebumps
A lot of songs can give me goosebumps. But if I have to keep one, and only one, I will choose this one.

EZ3kiel - Volfoni's Revenge

Everything is perfect from A to Z in this version of Volfoni's Revenge.

 2. A song you hated once but now love
Easy.

Pink Floyd - High Hopes

I remember when I was a kid, my brother was a huge fan of the band. Oh man, I hated this song. I have to admit that it's hard to listen to the Pink Floyd when you're 8 or 10. For a few years now, I have rediscovered the group, and well... How do you want to invent a new sound, a new kind of music after the Pink Floyd ? Seriously ?!

3. Do you remember your first CD?
Of course. It was Spice, in 1996. I still have it. And still listen to it !

4. Has your music taste changed much since childhood?
Yes. I was not a fan of classical music, now I love it and can talk about it with real arguments. I discovered country music and looove it.
I still have some problems with Jazz music. It's complicated.

5. Favorite genre?
Electronic music.

6. What’s a genre or style of music that you just don’t understand?
Jazz music ? It's complicated, it's hard to appreciate it. And, seriously, vocal jazz ?!

7. Do you have a process for listening to music, such as listening to the instruments more than words?
Nope. I listen to both, music and words. I like to listen only the music or just the voice, or the words. But depends of my mood....

8. What’s your favorite thing about your favorite song?
Well, I have a lot of favorite songs. And many years of experience in music industry.
I think that I will share with you this two songs.

One Direction - One thing

Van Susans - Lipstick Teeth

In late 2012, Van Susans came to play in Paris. We had a successful gig in Paris and we were coming back to Versailles by train. The guys played few songs in the train, just for fun (and especially this two). We all had a great time. I miss that time, and miss the guys.

9. Do you have a favorite decade for music?
All of them. Music from the past is so rich and has inspired so many new genres. I'm not a big fan of 2010-2019, but we still can find good stuff.

10. Can you play any instruments?
Ah ah ah. NO.
I tried cello when I was 10. Fail.

11. Do you remember your first favorite song?
I think I'm gonna share this one.

Bryan Adams - Please forgive me

As far I remember, I'm a fan.

12. What was the first concert you ever attended?
It was Jean Michel Jarre, in Versailles. A free gig on the Avenue de Paris, in front of the Chateau de Versailles. It was in 1993. I was 7. It was so cool. My brother wanted to go because he was a fan by the time, and bought the record Chronologie. So we went with my Dad, brother and sister. My mum didn't come cuz the little brother was only a few months old at the time. It's a good memory.
