I can't believe it's already Saturday evening !

What news since my last post, the one about my broken heart in Glasgow ?

Well, not a lot of things, except that my gig for Music Day 2012 is more than confirm, I'm in the middle of the promotion, I really hope there will be a good weather cuz it's a very good band, and they deserve to have a loooooooot of people for their very first time in France !!

I don't think I told you the name of the band, and sorry about that. The last confirmations came when I was in Glasgow and when I came back. It's a band from London called Van Susans. I discovered them through Jack's radio show. I think he was playing it every week....

I have to admit that I'm really stressed about that gig. As every time I welcome a band for the first time, and as every time I have a gig for Music Day. This year is the third one, and it was really hard to book it !!

Another news. Remember that post where I said that I had an important email ?

I finally gave my answer, and said yes. That means that next week-end, I'll be a member of the jury for some French finals for Emergenza Festival. I ... I really appreciate the fact that the guys asked it to me, and I think it's gonna be fun !

Last news, did you see that I made some changes ? I needed new stuffs for that blog... I'm thinking about changing the header soon...

61. Ocean or pool ?

I'd love to live near the Ocean, I love the Ocean ! But also enjoys the pool a lot....

I'm sorry but I don't know what you mean by Ruby Tuesdays.... I know the song, but can't find if it means something !

63. Did you want to go to college ?

Nope, and finally did one year there. It was more than awesome ! I'd love to go back there !!

64. What did you last time at a mall ?

In Glasgow, last Friday. Princes' Square.

65. Which close friend have you known the longest ?

Well, I think I will answer Gaël, Guillaume and Anne. Met in Junior High !

66. Why do you like the music you do ?

I started working in Music Industry with World Music, then Catholic Rock, then Techno Music, then Dub Music, then Classical, then Rock. Every time I started a new contract, I new mostly nothing about the style. A big discovery every time. I learned to sell any kind of music, I admit that I worked on project I really really didn't like. It was freaking hard to sell it correctly, but I did. Now, for my company, I'm free to work with who I want. I just want to feel something when I hear it.

I chose to work with A Joker's Rage because I had that big musical crush the first time I heard them. Just one song and I was completely in love with the band. Now, I keep working with them cuz Zakk is still one of my friend, I started working with Gary because it's through AJR that I discovered his music as Three Card Trick and by himself, and work with Maggie because, the same, it's through AJR that I discovered Heavy Mama, The Kicks, and now Royal Foundlings.
Ok, I told them I will book them gigs in France cuz I consider them more than just artists, I have good feelings with them, I believe in their talent. I don't do that just because I thought I was in love with the drummer. If Neil was the only reason I'm working with them, I would have send emails telling "sorry, can't do it anymore cuz your drummer broke my heart, not interested anymore !"

Yes, it's gonna be hard because memories will always be there, but, I know I can turn the page and keep my head in work and only work. Never mix job and heart. Never try dating with one of your artists !

67. Do you read much ?

Depends. My last book was awesome and read it pretty fast, the new one is more than awesome, it's gonna be good.
But really depends if I have the time or not !

68. Favourite country ?

Hesitate between UK and Italy....

69. What is something you wish you were better at ?

Relationships, management, job...

70. What’s your favourite album / CD ?

Depends of the mood, of the season, of a lot of things. But right now it's "Once Upon A Time in the West" by the White Buffalo. LOOOOOOOVE HIM !!!!!!

71. What's a good dinner order ?

Well, I'm French and can't answer just like that ! It's a very hard question ! Depends if you're alone or with family or friend....

72. Planes or boats ?

Hate planes, enjoys boats, would love to have a cruise one day !

I don't care about rumours, and honestly, I don't know if there is or was rumour about me !

74. Who is your newest friend ?

Probably people I met in Glasgow, but can't say they are friends !

Nope.

The day before yesterday, Gaël sent me "pick you at 9:PM for drinks" it was very useful cuz I really needed drinks !!!!

ORANGINA !!!!

79. The worst weather: Hot or cold ?

Hot. Cuz, at least, when it's cold, you can put millions of jumpers / socks / whatever, when it's hot, and there is no air, no beach, nothing, what do you do ?

80. Do you play an instrument ?

I used to play cello when I was a kid. And had flute class in Music Classes in Junior High !
