What I don't like about February...

 ... is all the crazy commercials about Valentine's Day.

I don't like Valentine's day. Not because every year at this moment of the year I'm single, but because, I think it's ridiculous. 

One year, one of my good friends texted me "happy valentine's day". I was really surprised by this text message because our relationship had been really chaotic during many years. We had a big fight once, since, he's a wonderful friend. I'm pretty sure I already talked to you about this guy, but... can't remember when and why... (ok, short research, I talked about him here )

Anyway.

So, one year he texted me that. And I think I answered him "why ?"

And he text again saying that Valentine's day is a stupid day, people should not need ONE day to say what they feel to the others. He texted me because I'm his friend, and he thought that I deserved to know it.

I really appreciated that message, but I still don't like Valentine's day. 

Because, we don't need ONE day to say "I love you" and offering flowers and chocolates, bla bla bla. It kills all the surprise of love !

So, I'm not a fan of February, but, I think that February 2011 is gonna be nice.

Just because today was a good day.

Few days ago, Zakk sent me an email, telling me that he wanted to come back to France around August-September. So, I'm working on a beautiful press release of the band and will send it to venues and promoters. 

A Joker's Rage asset is, for me, the power of their friendship and the madness of the band. So, I wanted to use it. I choose to dedicate a part of my PR to the band and I titled it "A Joker's Rage by A Joker's Rage"

The four of them has one page with their name and picture. And because I wanted to write a short bio about each, I sent them five questions : 

1) What makes you decide to play music, and especially guitar/bass/drum/... ?
2) How did you meet your band mates and what makes you decide to play with them ?
3) What can you say about them ? (as person, musician, alien, ...)
4) What will be, for you, the perfect AJR's gig ? (let's be crazy, you have no money limit !)
5) Why should we book AJR in France ? Sell yourself !

They all answered, and... well, I don't know how to do ! Their answers are just awesome ! I laughed so much !! I hope this PR will help them !!!

I may post some of their answers !

 

And what news about the others ?

Well... Josh is coming back to Paris late April-early May, so, I work on it. iMMa's first gig is in 23 days now, so... I have different things to do (like, finish all the administrative stuff about my company !) before that. 

I spend a lot of time on Skype talking about those two people with my british guys... I want to have a lot of ideas and dreams for those artists, because... because they're great and so is the team.

And finally, the Orchestra... I will soon announce a good news... Just need to wait one day or two...
