I have a first meeting on Monday with the Orchestra.
A long day to meet the second girl they hired in the same time (her name is Marie) and meet the one who's leaving. All day long we will talk about production, communication, classical music, contracts ... I think this day will be really interesting !
After that, a second meeting on next Thursday to sign my contract, and then, first day of work on October 25th ... Scared ?
A little bit !
In fact, I'm not so scared about the job, I'm scared about the train.
One more time, as every year at the same time in the year (so between September and Christmas), the SNCF (the public company that handle the public train) chose to strike, AGAIN !! This year, it's against the upcoming law about the retirement.
Just have a look on the picture below. Usual there are something like a train every 15 minutes, more when it's the rush hours.
Scary !!!
I think I should create a private company with better trains, electronic trains without drivers. If there are no driver, so no strike ! And train all day and all night long ! A beautiful dream !
My meeting is at 09:30 on Monday morning, so I have to chose the 08:08 or 08:22 (the last one, 08:33 would be the best one, but because it's the last one before almost nothing, it will be so full (my train station is the second one of the line ...) that I will be dead before arriving to Paris.
I am optimistic because I perfectly know that the 08:08 and 08:22 will be full too !
But I cross my fingers, we're only Thursday today, things can change ... (I think that the debate about the law are today)
For the moment, I'm thinking about my one hour driving this afternoon, meeting with friends, new shoes and new earrings (shoes are a gift from Mum and Dad "to have a good and solid start in life !", earrings are a gift from me to me because I have the job ...)

I would take the earlier train. But I am paranoid. Love the earrings!
